arts and crafts architect CFA Voysey. Broad
Leys was built in 1898 on the shores of lake
Windermere in the heart of the Lake District
in seven acres of land with extensive Lake
It is the only CFA Voysey house in the world
that is available to the public for accomadation
and private functions
Broad Leys has six well appointed rooms, all furnished in the “Arts and Crafts” style with original fireplaces, two of which have large bow windows giving panoramic views of the lake and fells, with one offering views of the side garden and croquet lawn.
