Broad Leys Almost as Remembered

The staircase incorporates many typical elements of Voysey's style - such as the heart motifs in the balustrades all beautifully realised by local craftsman Arthur Simpson.

The carpentry throughout the house includes two carved corbel grotesques - playful likeness of either owner Arthur Currer-Briggs or architect Charles Voysey.
There are other faces in the woodwork if you know where to look!
